O and P Visa Sponsorship
With few exceptions, a United States work visa provides the visa holder the right to live and work in the United States to do one job with one company.
This means that when a visa-holder wants to work for a new employer, when an employing company is sold, or many times even accept a promotion within one company, they need a new visa, with all the associated costs. The new employer also needs to file the work visa, and in some cases, is obligated to pay for some or all of the fees, removing certain other possible employers from those available to the visa-holder. None of these are considerations for Americans looking to move jobs, creating an artificial barrier to employment mobility that can disadvantage visa-holders in the employment marketplace.
For certain visas however, one company can be the sponsoring organization, while the beneficiary is employed by another. If the company sponsoring your visa remains the same, the beneficiary can change the company employing them, or add a secondary employer, without needing to file again. This is not a blanket solution however, and It does not work for every person, every visa, or every job.

IMPORTANT: IAS is a separate company, not part of the Law Office of Andrew R. Sones, which provides sponsoring organization services, and does not provide legal services. As such, you retaining the services of IAS will not in and of itself constitute an attorney-client relationship. Any legal services provided to you in filing a visa petition would be separately contracted for and provided either by Attorney Sones, or by another attorney of your choosing. IAS dos not require that you use this law office for your visa application in order to utilize their services.
